ARCUSBEDS 20-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY—IVO MATTRESSES

Your Arcusbeds mattress has been made in Europe of the finest certified organic and natural materials according to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. Before being released for sale, each Arcusbeds mattress passes through five levels of quality inspection. We are proud to affirm the quality and durability of our products by warranting them against significant defects in workmanship for a period of twenty (20) years from the original date of purchase. Please read the following carefully. This important information will affect the terms of your warranty. Failure to follow the care instructions stipulated below will void your warranty.

Warranty Qualification Criteria

Our warranty is offered to the original consumer only, against significant defects in workmanship. To qualify for the warranty, as the original consumer you must:

1. Use a box spring of appropriate size, or a wood slat foundation with slats not more than three inches apart from each other; 
2. Be the original consumer who has purchased the mattress from an authorized Arcusbeds dealer in the United States or Canada; 
3. Present us with proof of your purchase that includes the date, place and price of purchase, such as a notarized copy of the original store receipt;
4. Ensure that the law and trade labels on the defective mattress are intact when returning it.

Warranty Terms

Arcusbeds warrants your new latex or innerspring mattress to be free from defects in workmanship for twenty (20) years from the original date of purchase. For the first through the tenth (10th) year of this warranty, all replacements or repairs that are determined by our manufacturer to be caused by defects in workmanship will be non-prorated and provided free of charge. From the eleventh (11th) through the twentieth (20th) year of this warranty, repairs or replacement will be prorated on a declining- percentage basis. During the eleventh (11th) year, you will receive credit towards the repair or replacement of the mattress equal to 20% of its original price. Over the following nine (9) years, this credit will decrease by 2% each year.

Items Not Covered by this Warranty

Arcusbeds are designed to be very robust and durable. Each of our mattresses is constructed of multiple layers of certified organic and natural materials to reduce stress on any one material and to help prolong the mattress’s life. However, over time, the weight of your body should leave an impression on your mattress that reflects how you sleep on it. This is the result of normal settling of the materials, which if not in excess of 1 1/2” is not considered a defect. To minimize such settling, we recommend that you rotate your mattress on a monthly basis. As Arcusbeds are double-sided, you may also from time to time flip your mattress over, though this will depend on your comfort preference. With normal use, your mattress should last many years, but any indication that the mattress has been misused will void this warranty. For example, bending the mattress, disassembling it, twisting it or jumping on it will void this warranty, as will placing it directly on a hard floor that prevents air from circulating inside it. Use the handles only to rotate or flip the mattress and not to transport it from place to place. Arcusbeds are largely handmade, and minor imperfections such as slight unevenness in the stitching of seams or stretching of the ticking cover are not considered warrantable defects. Other items excluded from this warranty include: normal wear and tear; stains and soiling; burns; mold or mildew; firmness preference; allergies or sensitivities; and naturally occurring cotton, wool, horsehair, latex and coconut coir aromas. Finally, an Arcusbeds mattress sold as a display or floor model is not covered by this warranty.

Activating the Warranty

In order to activate your warranty, your mattress must be inspected for defects, first by an authorized Arcusbeds retailer or representative, and the repair or replacement must then be approved by our Arcusbeds manufacturer. Your warranty may not be activated for any Arcusbeds mattress that is found upon inspection to be in an unsanitary condition. If the original materials found in your mattress are not available at the time the service is carried out, our manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials or a model of equal or higher value and quality. Our manufacturer also reserves the right to determine responsibility for transportation costs. Subject to the limitations described in this document, our manufacturer will cover all freight charges for any product returned within one year of the purchase date which is found to have a warrantable defect. After the first year, the original consumer is responsible for paying freight charges to return the mattress to the manufacturer. If the mattress is then found to have a warrantable defect, the manufacturer will pay for freight charges to return the mattress to the original consumer.
